Who is Smmurrsiebutt? A biography.

Hi my name is Samm and I am an artist, or at least I am trying to be one.

The mediums I like to work in are watercolor, pastel and mixed media collages  as well as digitally. I find my inspiration from life and current events that i care about.

This is my way of  speaking to the world and those I love as well as my weapon against all evils.

Other than creating masterpieces I love to write poetry, short stories, and have photo shoots with my friends. I also do  a lot of photo-manipulation but my true love is animation. I particularly like 2D animation because of it’s simplicity. Also with 2D animation I believe the stories are required to be better given the imagery being more basic.

My inspirations in animation are Tex Avery, Hayao Miyazaki, old school Disney, Dreamworks and Pixar.

Besides for art I really enjoy watching anime and movies. Also I like to run around in the wilderness and play on the beach. At any given time I am reading about three to eight different books. I love to dance especially Lindy and Swing. I also love to sing and bake although I never eat what I bake becuase I don’t care for sweets. I have a slight obsession with cats… Just a little bit, I swear I do not have a cat beadspread or figurines of them in my bed room at the age of 21… I swear! ;]

Also I am in dire need of a MAC as well as PS and AE for it. So if anyone wants to be realllly cool they should buy it for me and I’ll love them forever and bake them treats! Although I do have what I need for the meantime.
